La temperatura en Mitú oscila entre 25º (noche) y 35º C (día), con altos grados de humedad y precipitación. Aconsejamos traer ropa liviana y de colores claros, zapatos para caminar por la selva y chanclas o sandalias para caminar dentro de Mitú. Llueve mucho, por lo que es importante traer una sombrilla o poncho impermeable.
 
The temperature in Mitú oscillates between 25º (night) and 35º C (day), with high humidity and precipitation. We advise you to bring light clothes and light colors, shoes to walk through the rainforest and, flip-flops or sandals to walk around Mitú. It rains a lot, so it is important for you to bring an umbrella or waterproof poncho.

En Mitú lo más común es el mototaxi (motocarro), que tiene una capacidad para tres personas y cuesta $2.000 (menos de 1 USD) por trayecto y por persona a cualquier parte de la ciudad en el día, y $3.000 por la noche. Si el lugar queda alejado de Mitú, se debe negociar con el mototaxista. 
Otra opción es el alquiler de una moto en el centro de la ciudad.
 
In Mitú the most common transportation is the motorbike taxi, which has a capacity for three people and costs $2,000 (less than 1 USD) per trip and per person to any part of the city during the day, and $3,000 at night. If the place is far from Mitú, you must negotiate with the driver. Another option is to rent a motorcycle in the center of the city.

En Mitú hay cajero Bancolombia y el Banco Agragrio. Recomendamos traer efectivo para el viaje debido a que en lo mayoría de los comercios se paga con efectivo. 
 
In Mitú there is a Bancolombia and Banco Agragrio ATM. However, we recommend to bring cash for the trip since most of the shops accept cash only.

El agua del Vaupés no es apta para consumo por su alto contenido de minerales. Recomendamos comprar agua embotellada en las tiendas, o si eres huesped de Quenari Wii no tienes de que preocuparte porque siempre hay agua potable disponible. Tenemos una planta de potabilización de agua.
 
Vaupés' water is not suitable for consumption due to its high mineral content. We recommend buying bottled water in the shops, or if you are a Quenari Wii guest you don't have to worry because there is always drinking water available. We have a water purification plant.

Los operadores Claro y Movistar son los que tienen mejor señal. En la mayoría de sitios no hay Internet, y la conectividad no es buena. Sin embargo, es la ocasión perfecta para desconectarse y descansar en Mitú. 
 
Claro and Movistar are the carriers with the best signal. In most sites there is no Internet, and the connectivity is not good. However, it is the perfect occasion to disconnect and rest in Mitú.
